fr. helmut schuller
Fr. Helmlut Schuller is the charismatic founder of the Austrian Priests' initiative which was endorsed by 425 priests out of 3800. These priests call for action on a list of pastoral concerns, such as allowing qualified lay leadership and preaching in parishes without a priest, permitting divorced and remarried Catholics to receive sacraments and support of the ordination of women and married men. This organization has inspired the establishment of similar priest groups in Germany, Ireland, France, the United States and Australia.
Fr Schuller will be on US tour planned for July-August 2013. Call To Action is one of 6 groups sponsoring this event.

dr.aimee upjohn light
Dr. Aimee Upjohn Light is an Assitant Professor of Theology at Duquesne Unioversity with credentials from Notre Dame, Loyola University of Chicago, and her Ph.D from Yale University. Her specialities inclue Women's Studies and Religious Pluralism. Dr. Light is a young women, a mother of four, and an inspiration. The topic of her talk will be announced this summer. The talk will include a Q and A session.
